Windows 10: I am consistently getting BSODs after the latest Windows update. Now I cannot work on the PC.

I did a Windows update 2 days ago, and today my system crashed due to BSOD, and after every restart it goes to the main screen, gets a BSOD and shuts down. I troubleshooted diagnostics and apparently the Software and Hardware looks fine. This has stopped me from doing any personal work

Consistently getting BSODs

Ok, here are the latest updates...

1. I did go to Lenovo website and downloaded and re-installed all official device drivers => BSOD still occurred
2. I did delete the old hiberfi.sys file and let my machine re-create it => BSOD still occurred
3. I did run chkdsk on SDD system drive => TBD (I did not run on the HDD because I did try to disable this drive before but the BSOD still occurred.

Additionally, Lenovo has an official diagnostic tool which does thorough tests on all hardware components. I did run the test which took 4 hours and the result showed that no error occurred. There was only one warning having to do with the Bluetooth adapter with the message saying "Warning No device was found". I doubt this was the cause of the BSODs though because I did test the machine while disabling the Bluetooth adapter before and it still crashed.

I have uploaded 3 latest dump files to my Google Drive. I have a feeling that I might be nearing the end of the road in trying to resolve this issue... *Sad

 

Windows Update (BSOD)

Hi Guys.
I have Built a Machine for Crunching a few days ago and I have some issues with Windows Update.

I have installed all Windows Updates but there are around 9 left without been installed becasue everytime i try to install it the Machine Crash and I get a BSOD, can someone tell me what could be causing that Windows Updates makes a Machine crash and get BSOD?

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:

• Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
• Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
• After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.


I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.
