Windows 10: I am curious why the copy /paste function doesn't work well when copying from the windows...

I have noticed over the past few months if not more, that when I try to copy text from the Windows 10 default mail app, that I basically need to copy the same text by typing ctrl C repeatedly at least 5 times in order to copy the text.I may have to go back and forth to the application several times in order to actually copy the text. I would use the copy command in order to copy it, but the text is not copied. I can click links, but generally, I am not able to copy text. It just doesn't usually work.Any ideas?Note, this does not happen if I copy text from something like MS Word to another ap

• Which build is currently running on your computer?
• Did you make any recent software/hardware changes to your computer?
• Is the copy/paste functioning not working fro particular application or on whole computer?
• How are you using copy/paste option via right click or keyboard shortcuts or via edit menu within the application?
• Is the issue specific to a file format or all the file formats?

Suggest you to use the copy/paste using shortcuts that is Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+V to copy cut and past respectively.

Also install all the pending updates on your computer, restart your computer and check if it helps.

Original title : Desktop Window Manager Session Manager

I'm not sure I''m in the right area, but my copy and paste functions aren't working. I've tried the Run, OK, services.msc methods searching for the Clipboard and the Desktop Window Manager Session Manager.
Neither is listed. How can I find them and reinstall them Then hopefully my copy and paste functions will start working properly again. Thank Sabrina

 

Copy and Paste on E61

Hi,

in the meantime I have successfully done it once, I have copied a password out of an Excel sheet and pasted it into a note. However, I´m not happy if it works one time and doesn´t work the next. It must mean I´m missing out some step, but I can´t figure out
what it is.

Any help in this matter would be appreciated!
