PC specs: ryzen 9800x3d, msi bx870e tomahawk wifi, corsair vengence 64GB DDR5-6000 CL30, 1 2TB HDD, 1 2TB samsung sata ssd, 2 2TB nvme drives, MSI MPG A1000G. using a scarlett 2i2 interface. 2 monitors.List of attempted fixes: bios update, PC reset keeping personal files, stress test ram and cpu, replaced ram with a new kit of the same ram and then replaced that with a different kit of ram. unistalled easy anti cheat. Crashing errors not fully sure what is useful but i've gathered the following information: Fault bucket 0x7f 8 EasyAntiCheat EOStunknown function, type 0x000d , Event Name: B

BSOD on new computer while gaming

I just got a new computer about a month ago. Everything is new and I get BSOD (windows 10) while gaming mostly although it sometimes happens while I'm just using the computer. Sometimes the computer doesn't BSOD and just gives me a Access Violation Error. Not sure if related.

Steps I have taken:

• Updated all drivers and bios to latest versions

• Checked ram with windows memory test to see if ram is faulty. (A stick was and it was removed waiting for replacement)

• Clean Installed Windows after finding faulty ram

• I had 2 x 2080Ti installed, I removed one, tested and then swapped cards; issue still exist

I would suggest you to refer the below link and check the compatibility of the game with Windows 10.

You may also try installing the game in compatibility mode.
Follow these steps to install the game software in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

        Right-click on the game setup file and click on
        ‘properties’.
        
      • 
        Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
        ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
        

If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to get in touch with the game manufacturer if it’s specific to that particular game.

Games cause the computer to freeze seconds after opening them for Windows 10

I suggest to run the game in compatibility mode by following the steps below and check if it helps.

  Right click on the ‘Setup’ icon for the game and click on properties.
