Windows 10: I am currently unable to resume or access the deactivation of Bitlocker

Bitlocker was activated on my D Drive, following which I reformatted my laptop and installed a new fresh Windows operating system on my C drive. Subsequently, I attempted to disable Bitlocker on the D Drive, but encountered a system restart during the deactivation process. As a result, I am currently unable to resume or access the deactivation of Bitlocker on that drive. Whenever I try to open the Bitlocker drive, my system freezes and displays a blue screen automatically.

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to fix the issue.

1. Open the command prompt as admin.
   
2. Type in manage-bde –off <drive> and hit
   Enter.
   
   manage-bde –resume <drive>
   

manage-bde –on <drive>

Replace Drive by drive letter

1. Restart the computer and check the status of the issue

Those other step may not apply for your situation if you don't use hibernate.

bcdedit -set {current} device partition=C:.

Since you were able to step 1, test BitLocker to see if are able to turn it on. If so, no need to worry about step 3.
