Windows 10: I am embarrased to ask this question but can someone in detail explain Windows 10 Color themes

I am a LONG time user of Windows, even since the very first release when I beta tested it. I have never had an issue with color settings until we get to Windows 10 and I am completely lost as I simply do not understand it. In some apps, I cannot even see of the displays because of the colors. Can someone give me a simple, easy to understand explanation on Windows 10 color themes or how to set colors, please? And yes, I am embarrassed to ask this as I know it cannot be that difficult and while I do have a high IQ, I do have brain damage, seriously, due to excessive and necessary surgeries so let that be a warning.

Personalize colors and themes on Windows 10

Hi,

To assist you with your concern on the pictures being dark on Windows 10, you can try to play around with the colors and themes that will suit you.

Here are the steps to customize your color and theme:

• Click on Windows logo.
• Click on Settings.
• Click on Personalization.
• Select Colors.
• Make sure that the Automatically pick an accent color from my background is turned off.
• Select the color that you like from the grid of colors.

Win-10 themes keep changing

• Did you try the steps suggested by Suvarna Govinda above, what was the result?

As I understand the issue, Themes in Windows doesn't have the options to change on its own. Only the Wallpapers in the themes can change as selected ( Picture, Solid color and Slide Show ).

I would suggest you to make us understand that if the Wallpapers are changing in Theme which you have selected.

Below are the steps you can check if it helps.

• Press Windows + I keys and select Personalization.
• Select Theme and select the Default theme.
• Select the Desktop Background below and select the Picture
  and save it and check.
