Windows 10: I am encountering an issue with my M-Audio Fast Track C400 audio interface. The driver...

In DxDiag, I see the following message: 'The file MAudioFastTrackC400.sys is not digitally signed, which means it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs WHQL. You may be able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer.' This issue sometimes leads to errors while playing games. Is there a solution or a way to get a WHQL-signed driver?

Unable to set bit rate for Fast Track C400 device

I understand that you are facing issues while changing the bit rate for M-Audio Fast Track C400. For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below.

1. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
   
2. What is the make and model of the PC?

If the device is not detected as an audio device, there may be a possibility of limited advance options in the control panel.



I see that the support for fast track c400 has ended based on the product website. However, you can try installing the latest version software and drivers available for fast track c400 from the
manufacturer's website.



Ideally, these options should be in the fast track c400 application mixer setup.



Meanwhile, I would suggest you to try updating the audio drivers for the PC and see if that helps. Refer the article

Audio problems with USB [M-audio Fastrack C400] AND driver updates ???

I'm running Windows 10 64 bit...Does anybody else have problems with "USB sound cards" ? I have "M-Audio Fast Track C400" ...And Windows 10 64 bit is not sending me "updated driver" ??? Also i have problems with [I tunes, Audacity, Pro tools mp9] ??? I
run a sound studio with my PC...And Windows is not updating my drivers...What to do ???

 

Unable to set bit rate for Fast Track C400 device

I use avid (m-audio) fast track c400 with latest drivers from manufacturers web site.

The problem I face is it is impossible to set the bitrate and sample rate as there is no Advanced tab in options for this device.

Is there any way to switch the bitrate or sample rate via registry or via command prompt?
