Windows 10: I am experiencing lag from my computer and lag in chrome and some in vscode or pycharm ides

CPU: IntelR CoreTM i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHzMemory: 16.0 GB DDR3SSD: 466GBEXTERNAL HD: WD My Book 25EE USB DeviceGPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050I do programming and when I do that I experience lag in chrome pycharm vscode and many ides I please help me with that

Is anyone experiencing intermittent lag when typing in the Chrome browser following latest updates?

• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Chrome and Brave browser lagging in Windows 11

Hi there, I've been experiencing some performance issues with Google Chrome on my Windows 11 computer. Interestingly, when I run Chrome as an administrator, it seems to work smoothly without any lag. However, when I use it in my regular user account, it lags quite a bit. I've already tried enabling and disabling hardware acceleration, but it hasn't resolved the issue. Any ideas why this might be happening and how I can resolve it? I'd appreciate any insights or solutions you can provide. Thanks!
