Windows 10: i am facing an scrolling , selecting and auto pausing issues

i am facing an issue in which whenever I select an app in my app list or I select a option it always select first option on my list or display and it start stuttering and don't let me select the option I want to select or open an app I want to open at the end I have to use keyboard to select what I want to select this happen with my keyboard also but rarely my keyboard and touchpad both are working fine but I don't know what's happening and when I scroll down anywhere like webpage , YouTube it automatically send me back to first pace or at top page and don't let me scroll down and start stutte

Thank you for updating.

I suggest you to install Synaptic driver in Compatibility mode. Also install Keyboard and mouse drivers from manufacturer website.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Auto Scrolls Down in Windows 10

From your issue description, I understand that you are facing issues with automatic scroll. Please let me know if you are not facing this issue.

• Did you make any changes to the computer prior to the issue?

As you have reinstalled the drivers already, I would suggest you to uninstall the drivers and install the drivers again from manufacturer's website and check in compatibility mode.

Step 1:

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

a) Download the ‘wireless mouse' drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
b) Right-click on the driver and click on ‘properties’.
c) Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8.1 operating system from the drop down.
d) Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
