Windows 10: I am facing issue with the current windows version that in my system

I am facing issue with the current windows version that in my system. The Current verison is Windows 10 21H2 and it is installed on 06-12-2021 and it is taking lots of time to open the windows and hanging too much. Truly I am not satisfied with this product and I can not even upgrade to windows 11. Please help me with the solution. You can mail me at *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

System freeze and other perfromance issue on Windows 10.

  Did you update the graphics card after upgrading to Windows 10?
  
• 
  Does the screen freeze up when performing a particular task or at random?
  

You might be facing this issue due to the non-updated or incompatible graphics card drivers. Non-updated or incompatible device drivers may cause system performance issue in the operating system. Updating the device drivers, compatible with the operating
system will help in resolving certain device driver issue.

Method 1: I suggest you to update the graphics card driver from
Device manager manually by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Display adapter option from the window.
  
• 
  Right click on the graphics display driver and select
  Update option from the context menu.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions and wait for the update to complete.
  
• 
  Close the window and check if the changes are effective.
  

Method 2: If the issue persists, I suggest you to install the graphic card drivers in compatibility mode by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

Step 1: Compatibility mode runs the program in the current version of Windows using the settings from previous version of Windows.

• 
  Download the latest driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website or locate the downloaded driver setup file of the previous operating system in your PC.
  
• 
  Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
  properties.
  
• 
  Click on the compatibility tab, check the box
  Run this program in compatibility mode for, select
  Windows 10 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.
  
• 
  Once the driver is installed in compatibility mode,
  restart the PC for the effective changes to take place.
  

Step 2: You can also follow the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• 
  Press Windows logo key on the keyboard and type
  Run programs made for previous versions of Windows.
  
• 
  Select the top most search result and follow from
  step 2 from the article Make older programs compatible with this version
  of Windows (Also applies to Windows 10).

• Is this issue confined to any particular program?
• What are the other issues you are facing after installing the latest update?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted system files after the update.

Step 1: I suggest you to boot the computer in safe mode and check if the issue persists.

Follow the below steps to place the computer in normal mode.

• Press Windows + R keys to open Run
  command.
• Type msconfig and press Enter.
• In the System Configuration window, click on
  General tab.
• Select Start-up selection as Normal startup, click on
  Apply and Ok.
• Follow onscreen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to run the below commands and check if it helps.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

• Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press
  CTRL+Shift+ESC.
• Click File > Run New Task.
• Make sure you have a check mark beside
  Create this task with administrative privileges.
• Type CMD.
• Type the following commands at the CMD prompt (Press Enter after each command)

  sfc /scannow
  
• 
  powershell
  
• 
  Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  

6. Close the CMD window.
