    I am getting an error when doing a backup (The last backup did not complete successfully. The error code is 0x80070013).

    I think that this started to happen after I made the last upgrade for Windows 10.

    Please help

    I usually backup my computer once a week (Windows 7) After I upgraded to Windows 10 my control panel now reads: Backup and Restore (Windows 7) and I get an error message that the backup did not complete successfully. Thanks in advance.

    How do I get Windows 10 backup to stop trying to backup D:?

    Thanks for your suggestion. I disabled the device and ran the backup and it completed successfully. I then enabled the device again and ran the backup again but it did not complete successfully.

    Your reply gave me an effective workaround but it means I will need to disable and enable as an extra step whenever I need to do a backup. A future fix from Microsoft would be desirable.
