Windows 10: I am getting error code 0xc000021

Whenever I use startup repair it says critical files are missing I tried using dism to fix the error but gives access denined I used the dism that came with windows to install to update it to windows 11 however dism did nothing as the issue persits

The 0xc000021 error may be caused by windows system files damage. The corrupted system files entries can be a real threat to the well being of your computer.

There can be many events which may have resulted in the system files errors. An incomplete installation, an incomplete uninstall, improper deletion of applications or hardware

You need to convert the drive or partition from NTFS to GPT

To manually wipe a drive and convert it to GPT:

• Turn off the PC, and put in the Windows installation DVD or USB key.
• Boot the PC to the DVD or USB key in UEFI mode. For more info, see Boot to UEFI Mode or Legacy BIOS mode.
• From inside Windows Setup, press Shift+F10 to open a command prompt window.
• Open the diskpart tool:

Type: diskpart

5. Identify the drive to reformat:

Type: list disk

6. Select the drive, and reformat it:

Type: select disk <disk number>

Type: clean

Type: convert gpt

Type: exit

7. Close the command prompt window.

8.Continue the Windows Setup installation.

When choosing an installation type, select Custom. The drive will appear as a single area of unallocated space.

Select the unallocated space and click Next. Windows begins the installation.

BIOS error codes

So I have motherboard with installed small LED screen, which presents BIOS error codes.

Where can I find a list of those errors. And I don't mean beep codes, but the "number" codes.

Ex after installing sound card, the motherboard startup fails with the code 15.

Windows 10 will not activate Error code 0x803F7001

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.
