    I am getting error message "app-authentication token invalid". I didn't find any...


    Since I deleted my old credit card from the payment options in my Microsoft account I am getting error message "app-authentication token invalid" while trying to buy a loot box in Asphalt 9. The game was downloaded officially form the Microsoft store and I still have Pay Pal in my payment options. I reinstalled the game but the problem is still there. Is there any solution? I didn't find any suggestions how to fix this error on the web. Thanks

    Authenticator Error - You have entered too many invalid codes

    When attempting to use the MS Authenticator app in a two-step verification (on Lumia 920, WP 8.1), when I enter the given code from the Authenticator, I get an error message to the effect that I have entered too many invalids codes. I get this error on FIRST
    use (I have not made more than one attempt to enter a code). I have to resort to getting the code via e-mail. I have done restarts, uninstalled and re-installed the Authenticator app to no avail. Still get the error on the first use. Additional attempts with
    different codes get the same message.

    I attempted to get help from MS and received a message telling me (in an almost deliberate misreading of my support request) I must have entered too many invalid codes. I replied to their message with more specific detail but have not received a response
    after several days.

    Has anyone seen anything similar and discovered a solution?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help but... it didn`t work, I get the same error...

    I would like to try some more solutions before reinstalling the Windows, so if you can assist me a little bite more... I am getting error message "app-authentication token invalid". I didn't find any... :)... it would be highly appreciated.

    Authenticator Error - You have entered too many invalid codes

    Thank you bill24557 for your contribution,

    I suggest you turn off the Two step authenticator, then update your account information on
    https://account.live.com also uninstall the app.

    Once you've done the steps turn on the Two step authenticator again and install the app.
