Windows 10: I am getting multiple Windows Update Errors

• Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070057: 9ND94HKF4S0Z-AppUp.SGXDFP.
• Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070057: 9NCGJX5QLP9M-AppUp.IntelMediaSDKDFP.
  
• Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Dropbox Update Helper. Product Version: 1.3.191.1. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Dropbox, Inc.. Reconfiguration success or error status: 1638.

These occur daily.


What can I do - my CPU is the Core i5-8400 - so I know it supports SGX and it's enabled in BIOs


I don't know what the "Intel Media SDKDFP" update is but I contacted HP and they made me download a software/hardware diagnostic utility that tested everything (hardware, software, driver updates) and the only thing it found was that my media card reader driver needed to be updated, so I did that, yet I still get these errors.


Also in device manager, I see the Intel SGX module loaded, and no warning signs saying it's not loaded properly. I've uninstalled the module from device manager several times, rebooted my computer and reinstalled it several times.


I've even done an in-place Windows Upgrade twice, still no luck.

Who has seen this vista update error

When you go to Windows vista update and it tell you to update a driver that you have already updated. Then it says failed to update and gives you the error code that tell you that you already have a never version than that. WTF? Why in the world would it be trying to updated something with an older driver. Well the only way to get it out of your windows update list is to go uninstall what ever that driver is then run the update and install it. Then run the newer drivers again.

Well I still can't get the Nivida Network Bridge to disappear out of the list. I uninstall the one in device manager and go to the update and before it's even done with that. Vista is automatically installing a newer version than is in the Vista update list.......

 

Windows Won't Update? (Error 0x80d0602)

When I get to the step that says del %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat, nothing happens.

When I get to step 5 and type in

• regsvr32.exe mshtml.dllN

It gives me this:

• could you please mention the exact error message that you are getting?
  

The issue might occur due to Viruses, or something changing/deleting in Registry Files, a failure during Bootup, or a corrupt file which could be due to age of a computer or viruses or somebody tampering with files.
