Windows 10: I am getting System.InvalidProgramException error when upgraded the application from .NET...

I have upgraded Npgsql package from version 4.1.5 to version 8.0.2 that is required for .NET 8 upgradation but I am getting the following error after deployment of the service on the development environment and performing the health check for it:"name": "database_connectivitycheck", "status": "Unhealthy", "message": "Failed to access database. Database type: PushNotificationService.DataAccess.Database.DataAccessPostgresDatabase - System.InvalidProgramException:

Applications that are developed for the .NET Framework typically require that a specific version of the .NET Framework be installed on your system. In some cases, you may attempt to run an application without either an installed version or the expected
version of the .NET Framework present. This often produces an error dialog box like the one you are receiving.

However, in order get better clarity, please let us know:

• When exactly are you receiving this error?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer?
  

I would suggest you to try repairing .NET Framework and check if that helps. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows Logo key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type control appwiz.cpl,,2 and click on
   OK.
   
3. Clear the checkbox for .NET Framework (4.XX), click on
   OK and reboot your computer.
   
4. After restart, repeat step 1 & 2, select the checkbox for
   .NET Framework (4.XX), click on OK and reboot your computer.

Issues upgrading to Windows 10. Error: 1900208.

Hi,

The error 0xc1900208 occurs if there are applications installed that are not compatible with the system. This restricts the system to process the upgrade. We would like to know which version of Windows are you currently using.

In the meantime, we suggest following the steps below to check for the applications that you might need to uninstall:

• Press and hold the Windows logo on your keyboard together with the letter R.
• The Run command box will open, type appwiz.cpl on its search bar then click
  Ok.
• A window with the list of programs that you have should appear, look for the applications that you need to uninstall.
• Right-click on it and click Uninstall.
