I am getting this error 0x800700D -2147024883 code while updating security cumulative update of Nov-24-month patch

windows10 upgrade gives a code 0x800700d. what is that?

why am i getting an error code of 0x800700d when windows10 finishes installing?

Hi i am unable to install updates on windows 10 21H2 I can download the updates fine from 2016 wsus server, but get the message error 0x800700d when it trys to install?

i have tried DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

and SFC /scannow

but still unable to install updates, i have even tried getting the standalone update KB5023696 (March 2023 security update) and fails with the same error

This is on a offline network, but have had no issues before with the method we use, and all 2016 and win 10 1607 update fine its only on the win 10 21H2 machines

Am at my wit's end

Running windows 10 that came with my machine about 12mths ago.

Since then it will not update to 1607. I continue to get failures with error code 0x800700d.

Have tried dism.exe as suggested but the system finds no errors.

Have tried also the automatic reset update (latest version). When run the system says errors have been fixed but when I run upgrade assistant yet again same error.

Have not yet tried yet the manual reset of update components as am concerned there is a high chance of me making an error.

Is the manual reset more exhaustive than the auto method?

Should I bight the bullet?
