Windows 10: I am going to change the SSD on my Surface Pro, I have digital license which is activated...

So I am going to replace the SSD on my surface Pro, how do I transfer my windows OS license to the new SSD after installation.

Windows 10 Pro Activated with Digital License

Hi, I am using PC with genuine Windows 7 Pro. I have change the HDD of the PC to SSD and reactivate the windows to Windows 10 Pro using the installer that I download from windows installation media tool- https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10 . I click I do not have product key when it request for activation key during the installation. When the windows done installed, the windows activation shows activated with digital license. Is the windows 10 Pro I have installed is genuine?

my windows digital license changed after I forgot my log in password and giving my laptop to someone to fix it .

I had an active windows 10 pro and now I have a deactivated windows 10 pro with windows 10 home license installed on my computer .

this is the error :

we found a windows 10 home digital license for this device running windows 10 pro . to activate using this digital license you need to install windows 10 home .

and when I try to activate it by entering my product key this error shows up :

we cant activate windows on this device right now you can try activating again later or go to the store to buy genuine windows (0xc004d302)

please if there is a solution tell me . thank you .

 

want to throw away my ssd but not sure if i can activate with a digital license.

greetings. Im planing to discard my ssd drive but im not sure if i can activate windows using digital license, because when I look at the activation page it just says "windows is activated" instead of "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account." im using windows 10 pro 212h O.S build 19044.2006

the questions are:
- how to confirm that i own a digital license
- if the digital license is not linked to my microsoft account, how can i link it?
