I am having a Norwegian keyboard, however I use English language to type, When I type in English the words are shown as incorrect- How to correct this and get right suggestion if I mistyped any English word

English language/Norwegian keyboard

I have as you can understand upgraded my OS to Windows 10 from Windows 7 - and it is fantastic ! ! !

However, when setting Norwegian keyboard with English language, the settings change either during typing or next

time I log on

Question is : how can I save the settings after having set them so that the keyboard remains Norwegian and matches

the English (UK) operating system as well as mails and other Windows Office programs....

It is very annoying when starting typing and after a few seconds I notice the keyboard has changed to English, so I have

to set it again on the task bar in the right-hand corner

Norwegian keyboard showing up when switching input language

I appreciate your effort on this. I understand that you see Norwegian keyboard when you switch between the input languages. As you have checked the installed keyboard languages using PowerShell and didn’t find the keyboard language, I suggest you to
refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if you are able to find the keyboard language:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type lpksetup and click on
   OK.
   
3. Click on Uninstall display languages.
   
4. If you find Norwegian keyboard listed, click on it and click on
   Next.
   
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the language pack.

E71 typing Norwegian letters

With English installed as the language, is there a way to type the three Norwegian letters (æ, ø, å) ?
