Windows 10: I am having a problem regarding the links sometimes provided in incoming emails.

HiI am using Mozilla Thunderbird as my email app on both my HP Laptop Windows 10 and my Acer Laptop Windows 7.Thunderbird works perfectly on my Acer but on the HP cannot use any of the links in incoming emails and get a message that I do not have permission to access these link. They might be hyperlinks or links to purchases, tracking of parcels or deliveries of purchases or any type of linkI have been through all the possibilities of the Mozilla Thunderbird being at fault and it doesn't appear to be caused by my Norton360 Anti Virus package so I am assuming it is a Microsoft security issue.C

Sound for incoming emails


Yes, I have (and had) Notifications - Show in action center on and a checkmark at Play a sound - but don't get a sound for incoming mails.

However, I don't have Mail listed in Settings - Privacy - Let apps run in the background and also not in Settings System - Notifications & actions - Show notifications from these apps. In the first setting other applications are listed (but Mail is not one of them), in the second setting no application is listed and it only says "No apps have provided notifications yet".

Just to clarifiy it - I also don't get a sound for incoming emails when Mail is the active foreground application.

Nokia Lumia 800 incoming email problem

My Lumia 800 has stopped showing incoming emails. It lets me send emails without any problem, its just incoming ones. A message says it is having a problem downloading messages and to make sure I have a connection, which I must have if I can send mail
ok. This has only recently started to happen and I haven't changed anything on my phone. Any suggestions please.
