I am having a problem with a screensaver i downloaded and when i try to install, a message comes up that says “ Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate.” I had just cleared my hard drive and reset my laptop to hopefully speed it up and reduce freezing. I have been using the same screensaver before with no issues. Now that I try to install it again, it doesn’t seem to work.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.

Screensaver is so dated I had to really dig to find those fixes, so to have them completely ignored is very discouraging. Can you go back to the top of the list and work through them now?
