Windows 10: I am having an issue in updating my device to the new build Windows 11 Insider Preview...

Even when i click on open windows update and then it searches for updates and nothing shows up.Please help me out. Shakeeb

Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22504.1010 - UPDATE FAILED

This may have same issue which is listed build 22504 release announcement as "know issue".

• Some devices may bugcheck with error code 0xc1900101-0x4001c when installing this build. If you hit this, after the device rolls back to the previous build, you may want to pause updates until we release a fix.

Windows 11 Insider builds take an EXTREMELY long time to install

This is listed as know issue on Dev channel release announcement.

I am having an issue in updating my device to the new build ( Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3420 (Beta Channel)). When I go to windows update> windows insider programme and it says this.

You have not received the update for the new version of Windows 11 Insider Preview.

The current latest version of Windows Insider Preview was released on July 5, 2022.

Since Windows Update pushes updates in batches, some users may not receive the update immediately. This is normal, so please be patient.

Don't worry too much though. You can choose to wait for the update to be pushed to you or try restarting your Windows Update service. This will make your computer reconnect to the update server, send a request for updates, and possibly receive the new update.

Note: Since this method relies on accessing the update server, it still has an element of randomness. If you still can't receive the update after trying this, you can choose to wait patiently or repeatedly attempt to restart the service.

You can try the following steps to restart your Windows Update service:

1. Turn off the Windows Update service.

- Press "Win+X" >> Computer Management >> Services and Applications >> Services.

- Find the Windows Update service and turn it off.

2. Delete update files.

- Delete the files in the path C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore and C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download.
