I am having issues with windows 11 cutting audio for 1 second at random times.

The way I have everything set up is my tv is connected to my video card using an HDMI. I also then have my TV connected to my A/V Receiver using ARC by HDMI. I have my audio format being “Dolby Atmos for home theater” and spatial sound also being “Dolby Atmos home theater”. This setup allowed me to get 5.1 audio from my receiver and worked perfectly with Windows 10. When I upgrade to windows 11 I start having issues with audio cutting off randomly for 1 second and then coming back on. It can be pretty annoying when trying to watch a movie. Any help would be great.

    :)

I am having issues with windows 11 cutting audio for 1 second at random times.

Random audio stuttering and mouse freezing

"High Definition Audio" suggests you only have the generic, basic function, Windows installed sound driver rather than the correct sound hardware driver. If this is the case, install the correct sound driver as step 1.
