Windows 10: I am having problem update this new release: Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider...

Hello, I initially purchased my laptop with Windows 10 Pro and subsequently updated it to Windows 11. I'm now having a problem updating to the most recent update: "Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22623.1020 KB5020035". Here is the error: "Install error - 0x80070002"Any advice on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,David

Cumulative updates for Windows 10 and Windows 11 - January 2022

This update is released only for Insiders in Release Preview and Beta channels.

These previews aren't listed in update history and there is no "Learn more" info available.

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

True. Anyone remembers how long it took to update vanilla Windows 7 with all updates released just 6 months later. It took ages even on high end systems. Windows 10 with cumulative takes like few minutes a year after vanilla was released.
