Windows 10: I am having problems connecting and staying connected to my internet.

I have tried reinstalling my driver, updating my drivers, forgetting and reconnecting the my wifi, restarting my computer, resetting my settigs, and clearing my caches. I have checked that my wifi card is securly attached to the motherboard and the antenna is properly positioned. My computer is also fully up to date. Sometimes when I restart the motem it fixes itself, and everything is fine until I start my computer up again. Other times, it is connected and fine, but 5 mins or an hour later it will randomly disconnect and the problems start over again. All other devices in the house are worki

Can't stay connected to the internet

I have followed the steps you listed, and there hasn't been a change in the internet connectivity problem. However, I did notice after entering "ipconfig /release" there was a section that popped up, that said

"No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 1 while it has its media disconnected.

No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 2 while it has its media disconnected"

perhaps this is an indication of the problem, or let me know if there's any other information I could look for that could help.

 

internet connection problem- help

my internet connection suddenly failed about 2 days ago. we had to power cycyle the the router and modem. the other computers on the same router network were able to connect. my computer upstairs still had the same problem. i am using my laptop now with the same eathernet connection my computer that doesnt get a connection with and the internet works fine on the laptop. it just randomly stoped working and idk what to do now. the cable is fine because i am able to use the laptop on it and the laptop doesnt get wireless so i know its not the cable. my computer is in the system specs. ive tried setting defualts in bios and that doesnt work either. ive turned my firewall off and that doesnt help either. any suggestions?

 

internet connection problem

So yeah..this is for a friend,she has 3 computers connected to the router right.
Her computer,her dads and her brothers.
The problem is..there all connected and they can access internet fine but her brothers computer can't access internet explorer or mozilla firefox,it shows blank page.
Any sugguestion on fixing this? he is connected by wireless like his sister but his sister can go on mozilla firefox no problem but he can't.
