I am having trouble adding notifications to yahoo mail on Microsoft edge I am going to manage permisions setting but I dont see anything to help enable the notifications

Yahoo Mail Search Functions Fails In Microsoft Edge Browser


When I search my Yahoo mail, opened in Microsoft Edge, it gives me error:

An error occurred while trying to fetch the items in this list. Retry

Search works okay when Yahoo Mail is opened in other browser.
Why so? I just switched to Edge and I noticed this.

Edge yahoo mail problem

Hi Folks

Yahoo mail malfunctioning with Edge browser. Wont delete spam, often wont send mail. Screen goes to a blue hue when attempting to send or delete. Yahoo mail worked fine with Edge until about a week ago. Yahoo works with IE 11.

I ran the scan as suggested by Microsoft tech. The scan showed that no errors were present.

Suggestions are appreciated on how to make Yahoo mail work properly w Edge.

• Is the issue specific to yahoo mail?
• Did you try sending mail from a different browser?
• Did you receive any error message?
• Did you install ant third party security application?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to clear all caches and cookies and check if it helps.

  Open Microsoft Edge Browser and click on the
  Hub icon (three horizontal lines at top bar) and then click History Icon.

  Now click “Clear all history“.
  
• 
  Now select “Cookies and saved website data” and “Cached data and files” and click
  Clear.
  

If the issue persists, I would suggest you to try running Windows store app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

  Type troubleshooting in the
  Search area on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.
