  1. I am having trouble when I deleted Ubuntu's partition

I had a dual boot of windows and Ubuntu, but while digitally cleaning up my laptop, I accidentally deleted Ubuntu's partition. Now I am stuck with the grub 2.0 console. And this is an HP laptop 5 which has a UEFI system. I heard that in a UEFI system we can simply change the boot order but when I am trying, it's just not showing up the menu when I hit F10 or any function keys. So, if you know how to fix this please let me know.

    :)

Cannot Boot After Deleting Ubuntu Partition

I used to work on my PC which had a C Drive (partitioned with Windows and Ubuntu) alongside an E drive for other storage. I deleted the Ubuntu partition and after rebooting the system, it told me that there was a grub error - 'Error: no such partition".
After looking up what this might be, it seemed to be that the Ubuntu partition included some of what was needed to boot Windows 10. How can I solve this? I have tried bootrec.exe /FixMbr, which said that it was successful, bit then when I tried bootrec.exe
/FixBoot, it said 'Access Denied'. What can I do? Thanks in advance.

WIN10 Repairing bootloader after deleting second Ubuntu partition

I had my system set up with both Windows 10 and Ubuntu. I decided to only use Windows on this PC and deleted the Ubuntu partition, thinking I could just boot up Windows afterwards...

There are many tutorials out there that I tried, but nothing helped. I KNOW that a clean install would solve my problems, but in my case i would have a whole lot more problems because I have many programs through my university and it would be a real pain to set them all up again.

I tried to follow this guide: Tutorial

It works until i get to "create partition efi size=100"

The message in cmd is: "MSR and Efi partitions are only supportet on GPT disks. Convert the selected disk to GPT and try again"

I don't want to mess up even more so your help would be greatly appreciated!

    list disk shows

disk 0 (main disk, 931GB size, 2048Kb free)

    disk 1 (usb stick)

    list partition shows

    partition 1 (primary, 50Mb)

    partition 2 (primary, 930Gb)

    partition 3 (recovery, 515Mb)

I am having trouble when I deleted Ubuntu's partition

Deleting EFI partition I made for Ubuntu 16.04

Oh my goodness, I used the GNOME partition editor and just deleted it and it took like just a minute! Thank you so much for suggesting that, I was able to fix it immediately.

    Two questions now,
    (1) Should I delete one of the recovery partitions, and if so, which partition do you recommend me delete and extend it to?
    (2) I forgot if my D: drive was the olive color (simple volume?) before I messed with the Ubuntu stuff. Is that okay/normal for it to be and not be a primary partition like my SSD (C drive? I have files, games, and programs on there but no Windows information/files I believe.

I am unfamiliar with this stuff, so I would like to apologize ahead of time.

Edit: I used Gparted as I did not see the link you posted when I was looking for the software when you suggested to do so! Oops haha
