Windows 10: I am just curious about these.

I. Why did MS said to love Linux?

In my opinion, they just said it to migrate to Linux to Windows because of WSL, and make them buy their products, than simply love open source. I used WSL, but things like Libre is slow, but MS office 2010 is faster.

I have used other ones, I can't even use them, so crappy.


II. Why did MS kill 7?

I think Windows 7 is way, way much better than Windows 10. It is not only just fast, the designs are better than 10. Killing service of 7 was a horrible choice for MS both as an enterprise and a developer.


III. Why did MS kill IE 11?

If I really need to use other browsers, I will not use Edge. It is just imitated Google Chrome. I was using Chrome and I will use chrome. Others too, will not use Edge maybe.


IV. Why is Windows 10 so slow?

It seriously does not respond always. I cannot barely use an app, so I finally migrated to *buntu and it got better. I want to migrate to Linux as whole, but I can't for my VMIn Xubuntu host because of a texting app.


V. Linux: responds within a sec, Windows 7: responds in a sec, Windows 10: responds more than 10 sec.

I don't know, It's Windows 10 because it responds in 10 seconds.


VI. Stop mocking Google.

If you will, STOP it NOW. Edge mocked Chrome. 10x mocked Chrome OS. Mobile mocked Android. Cortana mocked Google Assistant. No sync with Google. Stop giving damage to MS users, and Google users.

Free advice: Stop the Windows 10X thing, 10 thing, make a new version of 11, make it faster, make it better, like XP, and make it cheaperPremium things.

Btw, did you see this air-cooler listing? They listed my Fenrir choice as #3 and you suggested the xiggy which didn't even make the list. What were your reasons behind this cooler?

I'm curious what you think of my feedback to Microsoft about Windows10

I was just curious what you thought, I wasn't looking for how-tos, and the "fixes" suggested mostly are not what I was talking about anyway. The left side of Start is the bar where you can add folders from settings, not the programs list.

My feedback to Microsoft was about problems with the interface that they have no natural adjustment for in settings or right-click.

The whole thing is literal feedback to them for how bad their interface is. I was just curious what you thought of it.

 

Not a problem - Just curious

Windows 10, Dell desktop PC. A couple years back we purchased a Lanier copier. The Gent brought it in, installed it, and configured each system in our network to access it. Every time we clicked 'Print' we would select 'Lanier' from the list. Sometime
during this past December - January, after a W10 update, the Lanier disappeared from the list on each system in our network and a Ricoh was added. Now when we wish to print we have to select Ricoh from the list and the print comes out on our Lanier. Is that
the way it's sposed to work? Just curious. - everything still works fine. Thanks, K.
