Windows 10: I am locked out of my new computer I purchased last night

I purchased a new computer last night. I am locked out. My security questions are there but I am having trouble with one of them. I have tried so many times to get help. The help is either going to old computer or my iPhone. I need help logging into new HP computer. I am so frustrated

Method 1:

I suggest you to disable third party security software (if any installed), and check.

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software,
you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

If the issue persist persists, follow method 2.

Method 2:

I suggest you to try below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

• Right-tap the lower-left corner on the desktop to open the
  Quick Access Menu, and open Run CMD.
• Type “gpedit msc” in the Command Prompt window and hit
  Enter.
• Find and open the setting named "Prevent changing lock screen image".
• For your information, it is located in Computer
  Configuration>Administrative Templates>Control Panel>Personalization.
• As the setting's window opens, choose Not Configured and tap
  OK.
• The other alternative method is to disable this setting. In other words, select Disabled and click OK in the window above.
• After that try to change the screen image.

Random Auto-Locking of Computer Screen

Nobody suggested checking out Event Viewer?

When your computer randomly locks, search for, and open: Event Viewer

Under Windows Logs, Check out:
• Application
• Security, and
• System

See if you can find something that states anything that could be related to your computer locking. The newest events are listed at the top of each section, so finding an event log would be pretty easy to find. Hopefully we can find what is causing the computer to lock.

 

computer keeps locking up...

him your computer locks up.... check what your running and see if it affects it cause this shouldn't happen it could be your ram or your mouse but i'm just giving a suggestion
