Windows 10: I am locked out of my windows. How do I get back in?

I just reinstalled my windows back in my laptop after using Ubuntu. Now my laptop, in windows OS, has a password I did not set up. Now I was locked out and I don't even know the password "my account" had. And now to be able to change the password on my windows, it's asking me to enter the old password which I don't even know. I have the email. Can you guys just send me the windows account password change link to my email? This is such a hassle.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
