Windows 10: I am locked out of Windows

I am locked out of Windows, when I put in my pasword and hit enter I keep getting, wrong password try again.

it is the same password I use with my Desktop...…. but it will not unlock my Laptop.

Hard drive/ OS issue

a guy suggested :

• unhooked HDD
• restarted
• yay !!
• reconnected HDD

How do I unlock the drive where Windows 10 is installed?

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
