Windows 10: I am new to changing .wslconfig files and need help with modification to change the number...

hi, I am trying to this part: https://degauss.org/troubleshooting.html#Parallel_Computing_on_Windows and need to change the number of CPUs used to get the program to work. However, I am new to this and have followed this guide https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/wsl-config#configure-global-options-with-wslconfig but it is very technical for me and do not want to compromise my system when doing so. I cannot change the resources in Docker so I need to change the .wslconfig file to do so. I am running Ubuntu subsytem on windows 11 and am not sure if this is the right thread to as

Changing modification date without saving new data in file

In windows 10 the modified date changes as the last view date even if I don’t save the file when closing, I don’t want the date to change without modification. What can i do!? This happening in 3dsmax files

To change the Account type follow the steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X, click on User Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on change your account type.
  
• 
  Select standard account.
  

To delete the account follow the steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X, click on User Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on Manage other Account.
  
• 
  Select the user account.
  
• 
  Click on Delete the account.
  

To create the new user account follow the steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X, click on User Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on Manage other Account.
  
• 
  Click on Add A new user in PC setting.

How to change File type on Windows 10 - File Extension Change

Windows 10

my jpegs. open with paint. Is that normal? It was a photo and opened in paint.

I want to see the page of all the file extensions to see what they are opening.

Somehow my friend has changed her DIP program to opening with pngs and thy won't open at all. she needs to change them back to what they were. I have looked online anf found nothing that helps...too complicated.

Could I please get a step by step 1, 2, 3 etc list to help her change her program extension to the right one.
