Windows 10: I am not able to login to my computer that upgraded to Windows 11. It was working fine...

I am not able to login to my computer that upgraded to Windows 11. To put in a one time code, the computer comes up with an e-mail address that it is NOT ABLE TO SEND THE CODE TO. I am in serious trouble since my business files are on this computer. So, I need to get my Windows 11 computer to send the code to me. That email address is fine, but doesn't seem to send for some reason. Look in my account and see how many attempts have been made to access it. If only I could change that e-mail address that the code gets sent to, it might help. I'm just guessing here. I am kind of in panic m

Not Able to login

Please confirm the following things for me.

1. Is your system connected to the internet? You can check this through the network icon at the bottom left corner of your login screen.
   
2. What error message are you receiving when you login with your Microsoft account?
   

I would suggest you to login to
http://login.live.com/ with your Microsoft account and check if you are able to sign-in with your credentials.

If you are able to sign-in with your Microsoft account on the live website, you can follow the steps in this article to ‘Start
your PC in safe mode in Windows 10’, kindly follow the steps in the section ‘From the sign-in screen’ and check if you are able to login to your system.

Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

  Are you able to login to Microsoft Account on Web?
  
• 
  Have you installed any language pack?
  

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Keyboard not working and not able to login from login screen

Hi Mateo,

We're glad that you were able to login now on the computer. Since the keyboard is still not working, we would like to know the answers to the following questions:

• Are you using a laptop or a desktop?
• If you are using a standard keyboard (wired/wireless), have you checked if there are any lights from the keyboard that indicates that it is being detected?

In the meantime, we suggest running the hardware troubleshooter as it can fix possible issues that you are having. Kindly follow the steps below to perform it:

• Open Cortana, type in Troubleshoot and click it.
• Under Find and fix other problems, click on Keyboard.
  
  
• Click Run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.
