Windows 10: I am not able to remove, AFR Afrikaans Language which appeared in Windows 10 after factory...

Hello, I ahve a problem with my win10 copy.
I had to do a factory reset and after that new language appeard: AFR Afrikaans
This language is not listed in language settings, but can be selected by win+space.


After few tries i found out that the language was maybe added by Microsoft Office and I tried to remove it from it.

Yes, Language dissapeared from office but it is still available in selection.

Do anyone know how to get rid of it ?

Install Afrikaans language on the computer

• When you say, “How do I go about to install Afrikaans on my PC” do you wish to install Afrikaans language pack on your computer?
  

If you wish to install Afrikaans language pack on your computer, refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows + I, to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Time & language.
   
3. Click on Language and click on
   Add a language.
   
4. Type Afrikaans in the search bar, click on the
   Afrikaans language pack and click on Next.
   
5. If you want to make Afrikaans as the Display Language, select the checkbox for
   Display Language and click on Install. Else, just click on
   Install.

Cannot get rid of language in Windows 10 Pro

Thank you for your observations. Using LPKSetup won't work, nor will changing registry settings, as you have found. When you mentioned that there is a delay after login before the unwanted AFR choice appears, it sounds to me that this is a Microsoft Office
Language preference that is loading after you log in. I was able to recreate this issue and solve it through Office 2016 Options. From Word or Outlook, for example, go to
File | Options | Language and find any unwanted Editing Language, Afrikaans in your case.

Highlight Afrikaans and click the Remove button. Exit applications and reboot. You should no longer see Windows Language bar options for AFR and any other languages you remove from the Office
configuration. You will continue to see languages for which you have installed Language Packs through your Windows Region & Language settings.

Afrikaans language keeps re-appearing

Windows 10 has a bug where Afrikaans keyboard keeps re-appearing after being totally removed.
