Windows 10: I am not able to save files.

I am not able to save files using a number of applications. When using Reaper, -Newtemp is added to the file name, and I am asked if the path exists. When I open a new project and use the "Save as" the popup says File not found which is correct because I have not given the new file a name yet. It appears to be ignoring the Save as option and using the Save option instead. Additionally, attempts to upload screenshots failed.Edition Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 Installed on ‎11/‎17/‎2020 OS build 19045.3570 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19052.1000.0 Device name AtticRoomStudio

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

 

Saving files off the internet to be able to be included in job applications

  How are you trying to save the article?
  
• 
  Do you receive any error message while attaching those files?
  
• 
  Are you trying to save those as html files?
  

If yes, Please be informed that you won’t be able to attach those files to the emails.

So I suggest you to save the article link to a word file and save those files. Now you may attach these word files to the email and send.

  How are you accessing emails through web browser or through a mail client (mail app, outlook 2010/2013)?

  Are you trying to save the email attached file? Please elaborate.
  

If you are using Outlook email, let’s try simple steps and check if it helps. Try the below steps provided.

Step 1.

If you want to save only the attached file from the email, try the below step.

• 
  Right click on the attached file and click on Save as.
  
• 
  Now select a folder location where you want to save the attached file.
  

Step 2.

If you want to save the file along with the email try the below steps provided.

• 
  Open the mail you want to save and click on File on the top of the right side.
  
• 
  Click on Save As and select a folder location where you want to save the email.
