Windows 10: I am not able to Sign-in my original Windows 11 account.

I am not to sign in my original Windows 11 account. Password is just not working and though its 100% correct.Its saying "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. CLick to setup pin again".But I even though I click nothing is happening. I am stuck now. When I try to rest password, its saying insert USB drive. There is no USB drive to insert.Now how can I get this Windows account back?

Nar, step 5 is correct. You may have missed all the sub steps in it.

Steps 5A and 5B are to be able to select the account.

Step 5C is to uncheck the box like you did to set Windows to auto sign-in.

• Is this the only account on the computer?
• Was this account upgraded from previous version of Windows?

It looks like you are using a local account. I suggest you follow these steps:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
• Enter your Local account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the new Microsoft account and click OK.

Issues with automatically sign to the other account after restarting the Computer and not able to sign in to main account on Windows 10.

Have you made any changes to the Computer prior to the issue?



Try to check if your User account is displaying in user account list.

1. Click on Search bar.

2. Type "User Accounts" without the quotes in the search bar and click on it.

3. Click on Manage another account.

4. Then check if your account is listed or not.

I suggest you to try to check if you are able to see the sign in option of your account in the sign in screen.

1. When the Computer automatically shows login screen of your Husband's account, try to sign in to his account.

2. Then I suggest you to Sign out from his account.

3. Click on Start Menu and then click on User name which is displayed at the top corner of the Start Menu.

4. Click on Sign out.

5. After signing out, check if your account is listed in sign in list.
