Windows 10: I am not able to type in any letters while writing my pin.

As usual when I opened my computer like daily, it started typing my pin But I was not able to type any letters and symbols only letters. After trying 1-2 hr. I started my computer using forgot password->microsoft login. I tried to change my pin afterwards But still the problem persists here too. I am fed up with this situation for many days,. Need help here and please don't provide any bad solutions.I am posting a Image showing that I am not able to write any letter or symbols of my Password except Numbers.While I can write all the required letters in New PIN. Fix this.

Windows 10 contains a free basic Word Processor that is perfect for writing letters . . .

Click your Start Button, then just type wordpad

From the resulting list, right click Wordpad and choose 'Pin to Start'

Now you will have a new tile on your Start Menu for Wordpad, click that to start Wordpad

You can use that to write letters, documents . . .etc and you can save and print those . . .

There's many ways to accomplish this, but one easy way to type a letter in Windows 10 by opening the built-in "WordPad" program.

• Click the Start button
• Type "wordpad" to find the WordPad program (it will search as you are typing)
• Open the program and write your letter
• Click File menu at the top to Save or Print your letter

 

After typing the first letter/number, the cursor stops flashing and nothing else will type in.

  Does the issue persists only in email and while entering the password or with other applications too?

As an initial step of troubleshooting, I suggest you to try using the on screen keyboard and check if the issue persists

Follow the steps below to open the on screen keyboard.

• Type on screen keyboard in the search bar and select
  On screen keyboard from the search items.

If you are able to type properly using the on screen keyboard then, it might be issue related to the keyboard hardware.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to run the
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

  Type Troubleshooting in the search bar and press
  Enter key.
  
• 
  In the Troubleshooting window, click on
  View all option on the left pane.
  
• 
  Click on Hardware and Devices.
  
• 
  Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.
  

If the issue persists, using on screen keyboard as well, then it might be an issue related to a third-party application or might be virus issue.

I suggest you to perform a full system scan using Windows Defender and check if it helps.
