Hello! When I use my computer, I turn it on and let it start up and go do stuff while everything automatically loads and updates. When I sit down at it later to do various things, windows is now telling me to schedule an update. This is a stupid feature completely incompatible with how I use my computer, so I will always refuse it. I then do the things I need to do and usually play some games or watch movies/videos. When I'm done, I usually go right to bed. Since I don't like to leave my computer running all the time, I shut down. Because there is no longer an option to update and shut down, I

  2. The King is Dead; Long Live the King - MS Paint's Announced Demise

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
