    I am not on beta or any insider programs, why am I getting cumulative update previews...


    hi I keep getting cumulative update previews for .NET installed, I am not a windows insider, how can I stop this?

    Getting forced .NET 'Preview' Updates despite not being a Windows Insider

    Thanks. This confirms I'm not in the insider program, as I suspected.

    However, it is odd that the .NET 'preview' updates would be automatically downloaded/installed when I simply hit 'check for updates' and taking no further actions. The other 'preview' updates require further steps of selecting them under the 'optional'
    pane (not that I would select an update flagged as 'preview', 'beta', etc).

    Cant get out of Insider Preview Versions

    Hi Alan,

    Thank you for your response.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you.

    • Go to the following website Windows Insider Program
    • Sign In using the credentials that you used to sign up.
    • At the top of the page, click the Leave Program tab.
    • Confirm that you want to leave.
    Note: This will only remove your participation in the Insiders Program.

    The Automatic Feedback can only be stopped by
    uninstalling the Windows 10 Technical Preview.

    • Restart the machine.
    • Sign out from the Microsoft Account and sign in again and check if it persists.

    Windows Insider Program

    Those updates you listed are not Windows Insider Preview updates. Microsoft rarely ever releases cumulative updates for Windows Insider builds.

    Which version of Windows 10 is currently installed? See how to verify:

    You have to explicitly join the Insider Program to get access to later builds.
