Windows 10: I am receiving this Error code: 0x80072f19

I am receiving the Error code: 0x80072f19 on Windows 10 mail on my gmail account.

I have my Microsoft email account and my Apple email account but the error only appears with my Gmail account.

I used the 3 accounts with no issue for more than 2 months.

i have 2 step authentication with gmail and it worked fine, I have also tried using an application generated password without success.

I really like using Windows 10 mail, more than Outlook where I do not receive this error.


Any suggestion are appreciated.

When I added two gmail accounts it worked and accounts succesfully synced and now after 5 days it says "Gmail account settings are out of date , Error Code:0x80072f19

I am having the same issue again with Windows 10 Mail. I have kept my Surface Pro updated with Windows Update.

When the sync fails it shows error code : 0x80072f19. It also states that there is a problem with imap.gmail.com:993:1 certificate

I have done the following:

• deleted the Gmail account several times.
• turn off "Check for server certification revocation" in Internet options
• update Windows to the latest hotfixes

It does not also sync People and Calendar also.

I have an Office 365 (business) account and that works fine. It syncs well. I can send and recieve eamil fine
