Windows 10: I AM REPLYING TO ALL WHO ARE HAVEING PROBLEMS WITH THEIR PASSWORDS CHANGING.

MAKE SURE YOU RUN EVERY MALWARE AND TROGAN, SPY BOT AND VIRUS PROGRAM YOU CAN GET THEM FROM MICROSOFT. IF THAT DOES NOT WORK DO A FACOTRY RESET, AND ONLY LOAD WINDOWS FROM MICROSOFT SO YOU GET A CLEAN PROGRAM. THERE ARE HACKERS OUT THERE WHO WILL TAE CONTROL OF YOUR COMPUTER SO YOU WILL NOT EVEN BE ABLE TO USE IT AT ALL THEY WILL LOCK YOU OUT. I WAS HELD HOSTAGE FOR APROX 40 HOURS. I CALLED MY COUSIN JIM HAD HIM SEND EMAIL TO MICROSOFT. SOON AFTER I WAS ABLE TO START IN SAFE MODE. MICRISOFT AND HP THEN TOOK OVER AND FIXED IT. I RUN A FULL SCAN WITH MICROSOFT DEFENDER EVERY NIGHT BEFORE I TURN IT OFF. I HAD PROBLEMS WITH HACKERS FOR APROX. A YEAR AND A HALF. I WILL PRAY FOR YOU. TRY NOT TO SAVE ANYTHING, ON YOUR COMPUTER BEFORE YOU RELOAD A CLEAN WINOWS PROGRAM. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS HELPS. I THOUGHTI WAS LOSING MY MIND, PASSWORDS WERE CHANGED ON EVERY THING, OVER AND OVER.

Trouble Changing Wi-Fi Password


I've been following the following steps to change my Wi-Fi password for some time:

• Launch Control Panel.
• Click "Network and Internet."
• Click "Network and Sharing Center."
• Click "Wi-Fi...."
• Click "Wireless Properties."
• Click the Security tab.
• Check "Show characters."
• Enter the password in "Network security key."

Those steps have been working just fine, but today I discovered a new wrinkle. If I change the password inside the router first, "Wi-Fi..." doesn't appear in step 4. This isn't much of a problem at home, because I can just change the password in Control Panel before I change it inside the router, but it would be a problem at a public hotspot, or something of that nature. I also tested Brink's instructions in "How to Connect To a Wireless Network in Windows 10," but they don't work for me either. How can I fix this?

This issue may be related to an incomplete or unsaved changes made on your account. This may also happen if you changed or reset your password for Outlook or Hotmail account but forgotten to make the change on your PC.

For better assistance, please answer the following questions:

• Have you tried changing the password again after logging in using the old password?
• What other troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

For the meantime, try creating a new user and see if the issue will persists. You can also check if the issue will also happen in Safe Mode.
