  1. I am stuck when connecting to WIFI when downloading Windows 11

I have built a new PC using an Asus motherboard and I cannot connect to the internet. I am struggling to connect to the internet, there is an option to connect via ethernet but I do not want to do that.I have downloaded the Wifi drivers for my motherboard Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard. I tried the most up-to-date versions and the REALTEK version, and every time I go to do the command pnputil /add-driver D:\*.inf to add the driver it gives me this failed message.Failed to add driver package: Missing or invalid driver package specified.Total driver packages: 0

Windows 11 setup, no WiFi card drivers

Like I said, there is no way to install these drivers. Windows 11 setup is not complete. It is stuck on a step where I have to connect to WiFi. There is no way to install drivers.

When will the wifi connectivity problems be solved?

OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?

Wifi stuck connected to single wifi SSID

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

Method 1: Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Internet connection.

    Refer these steps:

    • Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
    • Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
    • Run the Windows Update troubleshooter

Method 2: Download and install the latest firmware updates for the Wi-Fi adapter

Follow these steps to un-install the drivers:

    • On the search bar type “Device Manager”
    • On the left pane locate “Network Adapter” and expand by clicking on it
    • Right on the “Wireless adapter” option and click “Uninstall’
    • Download the latest Wireless network adapter driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help
