Windows 10: i am trying to connect new smart tv to computer.

the only thing that is displayed on my tv is my desktop and taskbar with no apps or mouse cursor and that never changes on tv. sometimes the mouse cursor will appear on tv and disappear on laptop screen. it worked fine before but I think I messed something up in computer settings.

We suggest that you follow these steps:

• Connect your PC and TV in same network.
• Got to Start and click on Settings.
• Open Devices and chose Connected devices from the menu on the left.
• Click on Add a device.
• After the wizard finished, just click on your TV and follow the instructions.

Smart TV

I have a smart TV connected to my network. It seems that every time I turn on my TV windows will list it as a new device. I regularly have to delete all these Smart TV devices, since after a period of time I can have up to 50 device listing for my TV.
Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
