    I am trying to deactivate S mode on a my lap top running windows 11.


    I am trying to deactivate S mode on a my lap top running windows 11. However everything I go to the Microsoft Store to "get" it to switch, a message comes up and says a problem occurred and to try again later. I have been trying for a week but am still unable to switch S mode off. I have tried multiple fixes for this but none have worked. Can anyone identify how to get rid of S mode?

    • Do you see any error code or error message on the screen?
    I suggest you to perform the below methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1: Hardware Troubleshoot

    Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

    Refer these steps:


    • Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

    • Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

    • Run the playing Audio troubleshooter
    Check if it helps.

    If the issue persists, I suggest you to download and install the latest drivers from your computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.
