Windows 10: I am trying to get windows 10 22h2 and i can't locate Media Feature Pack OS Build 19045.4291

Hi, I am trying to install the Media Feature pack, but I don't get the 'Optional Features' option to choose when following these instructions on this page - Media Feature Pack for Windows 10/11 N September 2022 - Microsoft SupportInstructions:On Windows 10 N: Select the Start button, then select Settings > Apps > Apps and Features > Optional features > Add a feature. Find the Media Feature Pack in the list of available optional features.I get to Apps and Features, but there is no 'Optional features' selection availa

Trying to install Media Feature Pack for 22H2 but its not available

Hi Lei,

Unfortunately this media pack is not listed as an optional feature on my build. Win 10 Enterprise Version 22H2 Build 19045.4170

I have tried to download the 1903 version but it says build mismatch and wont load.

Is there an MSI for this feature mack that I can load manually?

'Optional features' has been moved from "Apps" to the "System" category.

Please try the following, only if you have Windows N edition:

• Settings > System > Apps and Features > Optional features.
  
• Click on the Add a feature button.
  
• Select “Media Feature Pack”, and click Next.
  
• Click Install.

To obtain the Microsoft Media Feature Pack for Windows 10 version 22H2, you can follow these steps:

1. Visit the Microsoft website dedicated to Media Feature Packs for Windows (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/mediafeaturepack) using your web browser.
   
2. On the webpage, you will see a list of available Media Feature Packs for different versions of Windows. Look for the Media Feature Pack that matches your Windows 10 version (in this case, version 22H2).
   
3. Click on the download link for the Media Feature Pack for version 22H2. This will start the download process.
   
4. After the download is complete, locate the downloaded file and run it to start the installation process.
   
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Media Feature Pack. Once the installation is complete, you should have the necessary media features available on your Windows 10 system.
   

Please note that Media Feature Packs are usually released by Microsoft a few weeks after the official release of a new Windows 10 version.
