I am trying to install a program for a ThorX6 engraving machine and it's in a different language. I need it in English I was told it could be changed but I have no idea how? Any advice

If you're still trying to install the programs, we suggest changing the compatibility mode of the installers before installing the programs. Follow the steps below:

• Right-click AOL Desktop installer or Facebook Gameroom.
  
• Select Properties.
  
• Go to Compatibility tab.
  
• Check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode for.
  
• Click the drop-down option and select any Windows previous version.
  
• Check Run this program as an administrator.
  
• Click Apply, then OK.
  
• Try to install the program using the installer.

Cannot insta;; or uninstall programs it keeps saying a program already being installed!

The issue you are facing could be due to the program is running on desktop background. Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and heck if it help in resolving the issue. Follow the below steps:

Step 1.

I suggest you to go to the task manager and check if the program is running on Windows back ground. Follow the below steps:

• Press CTRL+Shift+ESC to open Task manager.
• Locate for the program which you are trying to uninstall.
• Right click on it and click on End task.
• Try uninstalling the program.

If the issue still persist try the below steps.

Step 2.

I would recommend you to restart the computer and as soon as the computer boot up try uninstalling the programs.

If the above steps did not fix the issue try the below steps provided.

Step 3.

I suggest you to unregister and register the Windows installer and check if it helps. Follow the below steps:

• 
  Click Start, click Run, type
  MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER, and then click OK. Even if you do this correctly, it may look like nothing occurs.
  
• 
  Click Start, click Run, type
  MSIEXEC /REGSERVER, and then click OK. Even if you do this correctly, it may look like nothing occurs, or you may briefly see an hourglass. After you run this command, the operation is complete.

Video drivers for AutoCAD 10 on XP machine

I have a need to run AutoCAD 10, 1988 version (NOT 2010) on an XP machine (see full story below). I can get AutoCAD to load up and run it's startup sequence, however, it needs specific drivers to run the monitor to go into graphics mode and it just crashes
when trying to load a DWG file. If I use a CRT (remember them) I can get it to work fine. I would like to go with a modern LCD display but don't know how to go about it. I've tried the list of drivers supplied with AutoCAD without an luck.

I have an engraving machine from 1989 that I run every day. I run AutoCAD 10 in up to 12 virtual windows in OS/2 3.0 Warp on a 486 machine, sending the files to a 386 machine that controls the engraver using Lantasic or the floppy shuffle.

I have the engraver running on a 386 machine, DOS 6.1

The CAD drawing machine is a 486 running OS/2 3.0 Warp

A laser engraver running Win 95

A vinyl cutting machine running Win 98

My computer is running Win 8.1

Another engraver running some obscure operating system that starts with a Q

A Linux machine as a server
