I've read the answers from others having update intstall problems and hve restarted my computer multiple times, run the update troubleshooter, manually performed the following stepsOpen administrative Command Prompt and type following commands one-by-one followed by Enter key.net stop wuauservnet stop cryptSvcnet stop bitsnet stop msiserverRen C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.oldRen C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.oldnet start wuauservnet start cryptSvcnet start bitsnet start msiserverClose Command Prompt and see if you can update then.troubleshooter findings were IsP

every time Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview (10.0.22621.1037) (KB5021304) installs my blizzards games are not playable. the screen either flashes or is black. I could not install the Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview (10.0.22621.1037) (KB5021304).

I encountered an error message: Install error - 0x800f0988.

I am using Asus Laptop, Windows 11, i7.

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.
