Windows 10: I am trying to reinstall iTunes on my computer under Windows 10.

I have deleted it. I have scrubbed it out of the registry. I only have two user accounts, an admin and myself. I have tried every trick I can find. But when I try to reinstall it, I keep getting the prompt to delete it from one of the user accounts. Could it be still lurking somehow in the admin account? I really am at my wit's end.

Tried reinstalling after a reboot, same issue.

Have not tried in safe mode. I will try later, just at work at the moment.

Step 2:

I suggest you to install iTunes in compatibility mode and check.

Follow the below steps:

1. Right-click on the setup file of the iTunes and select Properties.

2. Select Compatibility tab.

3. Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

4. Let the iTunes install and then check the functionality.

did you tried to reinstall itunes when you already rebooted your computer?
or also tried to uninstall itunes in windows safe mode?
