I am trying to renew the Trend Antivirus protection but keep being directed to install Microsoft 365 Copilot. Why and what is this Microsoft Copiot? Why is this necessary to install it on my PC?

Microsoft Defender Antivirus - Tamper Protection

We use Windows 11 with Microsoft Defender Antivirus and tamper protection enabled. During a penetest we found out, that Microsoft Defender Antivirus can be easily disabled by installing a third Party antivirus solution, even tamper protection is enabled. Of course, local admin rights were required, but we were very surprised, that tamper protection can be so easily levered out.

We think this is a serious security issue and opened allready two cases by MS, but never got any response.

Has somenone an idea or suggestion, how to solve this issue with tamper protection?

• Tap on the ellipses (...) at the bottom right.
• Scroll down and tap settings.
• Scroll down and tap delete history.
• Tap delete to confirm.
• Wait a few seconds for the cache and cookies to clear. Then, you can tap the back button to return to Internet Explorer.
