After updating to Windows 11 I noticed in the security section that I could turn on core isolation. I ran that but it came back with an error saying there are some drivers that are incompatible that I have to deal with before activating the core isolation. The three drivers in question are old, originally from 2007 I believe, and are tied to an old webcam that I used years ago but no longer use or have. The three in question are P0870Dev64.sys, P0870Evx64.sys, and P0870Usb64.sys all from Creative Technology Ltd.Anyway, I found the file location on the C: where they were stored, I initially mad

Unable to enable core isolation however no incompatible drivers listed

I have windows 11 and I am trying to enable windows core isolation. When I try to enable it says there are incompatible drivers. But when I click to review incompatible drivers none are listed. I am not sure what to do. I have tried restarting and scanning again but it's still preventing me from enabling with no incompatible drivers listed.

thank you for the reply. The registry editor suggestion actually worked - great! The core isolation option is now greyed out (the settings is managed by the administrator) but permanently on.

However, now the same problem is for the Hardware-enforced Stack Protection option below, which cannot be turned on "due to incompatible drivers", but there are no incompatible drivers found. Is there also a registry work-around?
