I am trying to save file received from emails in a pdf format. I keep getting the message. Can save file here. Choose another location. I'm using Windows 11. Can someone please help me. I cannot access ransomware protection even though I am the administrator.

I am having an issue that just started today, very strange and annoying. All of my files are saving in PDF format, no matter the original program or the "Save As" selection. It is still showing up in the file explorer as a PDF. Below are a few steps that I have taken to attempt to resolve the issue. If anyone has any suggestion or insight that may be helpful, I am all ears. Thank you!

• Attempted conversion from the original program and also Adobe - no luck with this.
  
• Attempted to save the file in a different location, both cloud and local. No resolve.
  
• Ran anti-virus to check for anything harmful. Clean scan.
  
• Ran SFC to check for corrupt files. Scan located and repaired files.
  
• Went into the default program settings. No changes were need there.
  
• My pc and all programs are up to date.
  
  Again, any help or suggestion is helpful.

Saving PDF Email Attachments

How do I save a PDF email attachment on the Windows Phone 7? I know I can do this with a word file, but most of the attachments I receive are in PDF format.

Can't save jpg files emailed to me as jpg

This issue started all of a sudden about three weeks ago. When I receive emails containing photos in jpg format, and I want to save them to my laptop in jpg format, I can only save them as a pdf, with the only other option to change the file extension to All files. This still saves it in pdf format and when I try to open it to view it, a message appears in a pop-out window about a free 7-day trial to create a pdf?
