Hello, one day i am trying to send files from my android phone to my laptop, through a data cable. But when i insert it in the laptop usb port it is not detecting it. But when i connect the data cable through a usb hub it detect my phone. What is the problem. I even installed usb drivers, tried formatting window. But nothing works.

It is just easier to do it from phone.

Any tool that sends from PC such as fast file transfer requires a tool on phone as well. This is because android does not really have the concept of file sharing in same way as a pc.

Install ES file explorer on Android phone.

Set up drives with files on PC as network shares

Use network option on android phone to connect to PC

Copy files (either way) to/from PC.

 

Cortana on Android and sending SMS from the desktop.

Please provide more information before we proceed.

• Does this issue occurs while sending message to all phone or is it particular while sending message to specific phone?
• Does this issue occurs while sending message from phone to Windows 10 desktop?

You may also try installing the updates for Windows desktop and android phone and check if it works as expected.

Please post back with the information asked and the result for better suggestion.

Indirectly..... If you have Onedrive on your PC, and the OneDrive App on your Android (I have it on my Galaxy S4), anything you put in OneDrive on either is available on both. I use it for pictures mostly. I have it setup so when I take a pic with my phone, withing seconds it's available in the Photos App on the desktop and laptop.

Not exactly what you're describing, but concept is close.
